8 August (UPI) Roger E. Mosley, a veteran actor best remembered for playing Theodore "TC" Calvin on Magnum, P.I., has passed away, according to his daughter. He was 83.

According to his daughter Ch-a Mosley, Mosley passed away on Sunday from injuries he incurred in a car accident at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Ch-a wrote on Facebook on her father's passing, "We could never mourn such an amazing man." "He would detest any sobbing made in his honour."

In a post over the weekend, Ch-a stated that Mosley was involved in a car accident last week that left him paralysed from the shoulders down and in serious condition.

According to IMDB, Mosley co-starred with Tom Selleck in the 1980s television series Magnum, P.I. He earned about 70 acting credits over the course of a career that lasted six decades.
