The sequel to the 2020 animated film "Scoob!" called "Scoob!: Holiday Haunt" has been officially shelved by Warner Bros. Discovery, while production is still ongoing. In spite of the official cancellation, the production is still recording the movie's score, according to producer Tony Cervone, who also helmed the original "Scoob!"

When the movie is cancelled but you've already paid for the stage and the musicians, what do you do? Cervone inscribed a caption. "You enter the score, you jerk!"

Recording a score for a movie that won't be published isn't exactly common procedure, but neither is cancelling a movie after most of its filming is done, as was the situation with "Scoob! : Holiday Haunt," according to sources.
